It was love at first sight for me in Dubai. From the moment when I left the airport, Dubai was one big wow. From camel-riding, belly-dancing, dune-jumping adventure in the desert I experienced everything. It was an incredible experience seeing the dancing fountains at the Burj Khalifa.
Here's some tips, guides, things to do places to stay and more. Been there twice and each time I've been there I had a blast. To begin get a Forex card because you don't want to withdraw cash from your debit card in a foreign country with higher exchange rates. In my case, I got a MakeMyTrip HDFC Bank ForexPlus Card which was the safest and most convenient way to carry foreign currency when traveling to Dubai. I would personally suggest to go for HDFC Bank Forex Card which can be a trusted companion for any kind of need in Dubai.
I personally don't like the Dubai Mall but I like the Burj Khalifa. It was actually impressive. I had booked tickets in advance and was able to go to the top but only to the 125th floor. Make sure you don't miss the Dubai musical fountain which takes place every half an hour. Once you're done with the show have dinner at Mezza House which is next to Burj Khalifa as it's not particularly expenisve. I staying at Rove Downtown which had the best value for money as it was not expensive. You should stay here if you want to be close to the best shopping areas and fanciest restaurants.
You can easily get there by metro by going to a station which used to be called Marina now they keep on changing the name. Stayed at the Address Dubai Marina –which was my favorite building in the whole Dubai Marina, as it is just simple but impressive at the same time and located right next to the canal.
