Dubai Aquarium And Underwater Zoo Reviews

Descend from the clouds, we entered the aquatic realm at the world's largest suspended "Dubai aquarium and Underwater Zoo". Took a stroll around the glass walls of Dubai aquarium that stands between us and 30,000 different species of marine life. It took us 15-20 mins to visit this. The Underwater zoo has a different entry where we explored the unique ecological zones and witnessed the night creatures coming to life. You can watch in awe the Crocodiles, tiger sharks and many endangered species of the ocean.(Rs. 2500/person) Around 8, walked out of the mall to experience the magnificent "Musical fountain show"with rush gathering in large numbers. We later did some apparels shopping but the mall is very huge to completely visit it - it has all the big brands of the world, the ski-world, the gold-souk market. We didn't see any security guards in the mall or gold shops, everything is captured via cctv. The food out here was bit expensive.
Swimming with sharks is a thrilling adventure that few dare to undertake. However, if you are one of those few daring travellers, then Dubai Mall Aquarium is a perfect destination for you. Though it can partially be seen from outside for absolutely free, I thought there might be something bigger inside, with the iconic tunnel being just an entry point. In reality, that tunnel was the only thing you pay for, with exit visible as soon as you enter! The underwater zoo did make me feel a bit better, but I still wish I had visited Lost Chamber in Atlantis instead. On the positive note, you do get to see a lot of marine life as well as insects, birds and even penguins. Explorer pass, additionally includes a Glass Boat tour at the top of the tank and also a behind the scene tour. Encounters with animals such as shark/ ray/ crocodile can be added at additional cost.
If you have a shopaholic family , then the Dubai Mall is meant for you. The Dubai Mall – the world’s largest destination for shopping, entertainment and leisure located next to the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa. Featuring over 1,200 retail stores, two anchor department stores and hundreds of food and beverage outlets, The Dubai Mall covers more than 1 million sqm – an area equivalent to 200 football pitches with all the big brands that you love to shop from. ** Visit Dubai Aquarium and Underwater zoo **
