Rishikesh is situated in Dehradoon district of Uttarakhand. It's around 250 km away from Delhi and it will take 5-6 hours to reach here. It’s a gateway of "Garhwal Himalayan" and also known as "Yoga capital of the world." This city hosts International Yoga Festival every year. World’s most popular band "Beatles" arrived in 1968 and they wrote many songs of famous album "The White Album”. They spend several weeks and learned meditation with Maharshi Mahesh Yogi. They were trying to understand the true meaning of human existence.
