In Darjeeling, we did Airbnb and stayed in Tranquil Bungalow in Heart of Town. Emma is a Super host and lives with husband Roshan and 2 little daughters. It was really a pleasure staying with them.
Flight travel with a 6 months old infant for 1st time was scary. We had a lot of doubts and were well prepared for any hiccup in our way.
The highlight of our trip undoubtedly was "The Kanchenjunga", "The 3 sisters" and a glance of "Mt. Everest". We seemed so small in front of the beautiful giant nature. We went to Chowrasta a nearby mall road to experience the authentic food and feel the local vibe. Puchkas are a must try food item.

Darjeeling Zoo (Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park) is the largest high altitude zoo in India and worth a visit.
Another attraction is the Darjeeling Ropeway. It is famous for it's view of the valley around the river Little Rangeet. It is a 45 minutes travel from an altitude of about 7,000 ft. down to 800 ft. to a small market area. The view is spectacular.
