Luxurious Darjeeling tour

Darjeeling is the Queen of the Hills! It's a place I proudly flaunt. When I was small I always wanted to stay at the most luxurious place in Darjeeling. And that had to be Elgin Darjeeling. We had got the best room of Elgin Darjeeling.
When we reached this impeccable beauty we were served with refreshing welcome drinks.
This place is absolutely so beautiful situated just amidst the heart of Darjeeling very close to the Darjeeling main market area with a stupendous view from the rooms. The place itself is a heritage property and is extremely luxurious.
The architecture is very beautiful and bears a fine imprint of history and culture.
The lounge area is beautifully adorned with fine stuffs, having spacious seating arrangements, a bar section and ofcourse an amazing outdoor view.
The room that we had stayed in was a suite with two big rooms, a giant television, two luxurious washrooms with bathtubs and all needful accessories.
The room heater was there to use according to comfort.
Not to forget the WiFi, the munchings kept for the midnight hunger pangs.
All needs of the guests are perfectly taken care over here.
The room gives an amazing view as well.
The service is prompt and the staff are so friendly.
We reached there to enjoy the High-Tea.
It was indeed a flamboyant affair.
It consisted of pastries, cookies, muffins, scones, fritters along with the amazing Darjeeling tea.

For dinner we had continental food.
We had different types of salads like potato mustard salad, corn capsicum salad.

Chicken garlic soup which was so delectable.
Next for starters we had vegetable pantheras and grilled fish in lemon sauce.
The pantheras were absolutely lipsmacking and is still my favorite.
The fish was soft and juicy perfectly cooked.
Their hospitality while we enjoyed the food was amazing! Honestly made me feel the best.
For main course we had
Spaghetti bolognese
Roasted Chicken
Loved each of the dishes which were prepared with utmost care.
The dessert had mango mousse and choco brownie.

My dinner experience was scrumptious.

One can stroll after dinner for a nice walk amidst nature in this place itself.
Was here for one night but I loved every moment that I had spent here.
