Karde Beach Reviews

So it a began yesterday A sudden last moment plan . We decided to go to a native place . 150km away from Satara known as DAPOLI I had visited DAPOLI few years back so we decided to visit a different beach this time which was near to DAPOLI KARDE BEACH , DAPOLI We reached DAPOLI around 6 pm . Dapoli is well known for its fish market known as " HARNE BANDAR or HARNE PORT ". Fishermen from Dapoli and near by places gather there everyday to sell fish " The more you buy cheaper it gets " Dapoli is also well known for its beach known as " KARDE BEACH ". The best time to visit DAPOLI and it's beach's is from April to June with less tourists . With minimum tourists there are many things to do there . It actually feels like your owning a private beach There are many things to do apart from enjoying a calm and less crowded beach like You can go and see DOLPHINS with local fishermen You can do adventure sports & create sand arts You may find many starfishes around the coast There are many good hotels and home stays near to beach at Dapoli which will make you feel like home People there are very helpful and humble in nature their tone might sound rude but they have a soft heart If your lucky enough and have good bargaining skill you can spend 3 days in 4000 including food , stay and other fun activities & There are many beach's near Dapoli like KARDE BEACH , LADGHAR BEACH , MURUD BEACH , KELSHI BEACH , SAVANE BEACH , KOLTHARE BEACH and manymore And yes after you buy fish from HARNE BANDAR don't forget to give it to the local hotels they charge 300 ₹ to prepare 1 kg fish either their way or yours depending on your taste and trust me they are best at it See you until next time . If this helped you remember to follow me . Ok bye
Dapoli, a small town in Ratnagiri, is everything a holiday destination should be. A perfect place for a beach holiday, Dapoli has something for every one. With a long stretch of beach extending from Dabhol in the south and Kelshi in the northern end Dapoli has one of the longest stretch of beaches. The temples sea forts hotsprings and archaeological sites around Dapoli doesnt cease to surprise you and makes it a complete holiday destination. Dapoli Is one of the beautiful beach of the Maharashtra, and it surrounded with multiple beautiful beaches like Karde Beach, Ladghar Beach, Harnai Beach and Anjarle Beach. So we decided to take a trip to Dapoli beach from Pune. To reach dapoli there 4 routes from Pune. 1. Pune – Lonavala – Pali – Mangaon – Dapoli (270 KM – 7h 17m) 2. Pune – Chandani Chowk – Mulshi – Tamhini Ghat – Mangaon – Dapoli (221 KM – 6h 7m) 3. Pune – Khed Shivapur – Bhor – Varhanda ghat – Dapoli (195 KM – 5h 49m) 4. Pune – Mahabaleshwar – Khed – Dapoli (224 KM – 6h 5m) The best two routes are Via Khopoli-Pali or Via Mahabaleshwar. The roads at Tamhini ghat & Varhanda ghat are not good at all. Road condition is very bad. We choose Tamhini ghat to reach dapoli because we weren’t aware about the road condition. We left from Pune (Hadapsar) at 8 AM in the morning. I know its quite late to leave but it’s okay. So via Pune – Bangalore bypass we reached Chandani Chowk in just half an hour, i.e. 8.30 AM. We took small one 5 mins break at Tamhini ghat to drink some water. It was so beautiful view of adjacent Mulshi lake.
Karde beach/ backwater: sunset, boating Karde beach is situated between Murud and Ladghar, both being wonderful beaches, with activities. It is one of the most secluded and tranquil beaches in the Dapoli beaches. There is a vast expansion of soft sandy beach Karde. This is a very long and broad beach, extends far upto Burundi via Ladghar across a few rocky patches to its south and Murud Harnai to its north.
Wandering Further into the view of karde beach we found ourselves to end of the Dirt road , after inquiring we crossed the beach over a flat patch of rock towards Ladghar beach off road. there we had to cross a Small Patch of grass land to join the Road. It was a unique & thrilling experience to ride over Flat rock at Sea.
Places around: We roamed around one full day exploring other beaches and places around. But the best moments were the ones we spent as group of families while chilling at our Ladghar beach side resort and while being on the beach itself, instead of the time we spent roaming around.
