Over the years I have managed to travel to different parts of the world. It has been a very fulfilling and enjoyable experience. This planet is full of stunning places and experiences. But some of them appeal to you more than others. One of the countries which really captivated me is Croatia. The small country in Europe hasn't got its due because of its glamorous and popular neighbors like Italy, Switzerland, France, and Austria.

I am sure you are going to love Croatia if you get a chance to visit it. So, what makes Croatia so captivating and worth a visit.

Croatia is stunning - One of the most important and obvious reason is that Croatia is really beautiful. Dubrovnik, Plitvice, Hvar, Split - wherever you go, you will be spellbound by its beauty. Pristine Beaches, colorful caves, mind-blowing waterfalls, and secluded coves will leave you mesmerized Croatia is less crowded - As mentioned above, Croatia has always been overlooked by travelers because of popular countries nearby. This is an advantage for travelers who land up in Croatia. The country is not bursting with tourists and you can enjoy the unspoiled and untouched beauty at your own pace. You can enjoy yourselves minus the crowd, especially if you head to the secluded islands (there are about 1000 islands in Croatia) Croatia is affordable - The second reason automatically leads to the third one. Croatia is much more affordable than some European countries as it is not overrun by tourists yet. However, with the rising popularity of this scenic country, the country may soon become expensive to visit. So, start planning before it is too late. Croatia is diverse - The country has amazing diversity to offer the travelers. There are vivid waterfalls in Plitvice, pristine beaches in Hvar, and imposing fortress and magnificent palaces in Dubrovnik/Split. There is amazing food, buzzing party scene with a thriving nightlife. What more can a visitor want? Croatia is well connected internationally - The country has been in the emerging tourist destination list for the past few years. As a result, it is very well connected with all the major European countries offering direct flights to major cities in Croatia. Croatia can also be reached by train, bus, and road. Croatia is well connected internally - Travelling within Croatia is not a problem as there are frequent buses and ferries. Domestic flights, if available, are also affordable. Driving is also an option. Locals are friendly - People of Croatia are warm and friendly. They will make you feel welcome and comfortable in their beautiful country. Locals can make a huge difference to any vacation. Summer festivals - Croatia hosts a few of the best summer festivals like the Dubrovnik Summer Festival, Love International festival, and the Dimensional festival. These open-air cultural festivals are a treat to watch and enjoy. Must for GOT lovers - For the lovers of Game of Thrones, Dubrovnik is a must-see destination. The movie was shot in the charming alleys of Dubrovnik and you will love spotting the famous locations. Adventure Activities - If you want some action, no need to fret. There are lots of things which you can enjoy besides the spectacular views - snorkeling, dolphin watching, trekking, boat, paragliding, sailing, sea kayaking and many more. Enough to satisfy your adventure adrenalin.
