Have you ever wondered of exploring new places in caravan in India of course? Full Hollywood feeling eh!! Well then let me share my story. Am just back from my first ever Caravan trip. Due to covid-19 we were extremely sceptical to stay at any resort. Then we came across this camper-van.
Luxe Camper is India's first commercially approved camper-van. It provides living and sleeping areas designed within a compact space that can accommodate up to four people. It is fully equipped with 2 queen size beds, wardrobes, AC, incinerating toilet, shower room (hot and cold shower), dining area, kitchen, refrigerator, freezer, microwave, 2 smart television with built-in Alexa & bluetooth music system. What else do you need? And yes it comes with a driver as well. So you don't have to worry about owning a heavy vehicle license to enjoy a caravan.
They offer customised packages for places like Kabini, Bandipur, Bheemeshwari, Hampi etc. We opted for 2days-Kabini package which came at approx 42k after some monsoon discount .
The package includes pick up and drop from your place. All meals breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks included in the package.
Day1: They picked us up at around 7am. Kabini is approx 5 hours jourrney from Bangalore. They will stop at your choice of breakfast point. Luxe camper has tied up with all JLR lodges and Discovery Village, kabini. They have dedicated parking spots inside Discovery Village just beside Kabini Backwaters which is top notch. Foods are sumptuous which they will provide from the resort.
Add-on Caravan Features: outdoor Barbeque connection, external shower, bicycle rack, lounge chairs & table and bon-fire at evening time.
What could be better than a day filled with exploring the river, an evening of good conversation (and ghost stories!) surrounded by loved ones around a campfire, and a night of sleeping in a camp-van beneath a pitch-black sky filled with bright stars and full moon?
“Money can't buy happiness, but it can buy you a camper experience"
P.S: This camper started in Karnataka as of now and trails are available for only a handful of places, but they will be expanding soon to other places like Goa, Coorg etc. Self-Drive caravans are not available yet but soon they will launch. Availability is not much for these camper vans so book in advance.
Thanx for reading guys. If you want any more info, please do let me know.
