This is such a wonderful journey through nilgiri ranges over a steam locomotive, by witnessing the scenic beauty of nilgri forrest and marvalous british engineering structures which includes 250 bridegs ,209 curves and 16 thunnels , both two sides of track are enriched with bio diversity of western ghats
, from mettuplayam to ooty ,which listed in UNESCO's world heritage spots ,
Tickets are available for online booking , in order to get tickets you have to book tickets at least 2-3 months before through irctc website
You have to be there before 7 'o' clock departs at 7.10 am  Which covers  kallar Kallar, Adderly, Hillgrove, Runneymede, Coonoor, Wellington, Aravankadu, Ketti, Lovedale stations and reach udhagamandalam ( ooty ) railwaystation at 12 o clock  same train will be there from ooty to mettupalayam at 2 'o'clock
