Hi Bhairavi, Mid-September is a good time to visit Ooty, Coorg, and Kodaikanal as the monsoon season starts to recede. The weather is pleasant with average temperatures ranging from 16°C to 25°C. There will be occasional showers, but they won't be enough to dampen your exploration plans.

Mid September is a pretty good season for visiting the southern hill stations. Right after the monsoons, it offers you unmatched greenery that you would not get throughout the year. However, I have also travelled to places like Munnar and Kodaikanal in August as well. It rains a bit definitely, but the cloudscapes and sunsets are to die for <3

It is a much better time for a visit! I'm going to travel there for 3-4 weeks in total.
