Make them understand that you are grown up and would like to do an independent travel. being parents their concern is valid however I am sure if you talk to them and would try to make them understand your wish they would surely understand. All the best

Just plan your trip. Put a note where you are going under the pillow. And go for it. After arrived to the destination, inform to your parents....afterall you are adult, you can do whatever you like. Just take them with you for few travel trips. Have them explore the essence of it! They will get to know how travel is soul soothing. Either they become your travel partners or they will accept and allow you to go on further.

They care for you that's why they don't let you travel. you can arrange a outstation picnic with them and arrange it completely starting from bed tea to sleep at night. then only they will gain confidence. same used to happen with me when I asked my Dad to Ride solo on my bike. but he denied so while going to office I started giving him lift on my bike then he also started liking it and later I did ladakh and kanyakumari ride solo. you just need to gain confidence of ur parents. that's it. all the best.😉👍

Start with small joint trips outside the city so that they see that you are doing quite well. And then increase the distance.
