It depends on the time and budget. exploring ladakh would be a nice option over zanskar valley. not sure about stay options much in zanskar valley, but in Leh, one can easily get good accommodation with food for below 1k. with this as luxury, you can spend more money on exploration part.

Zanskar is in Ladakh but in case you have enough time do visit Tso Moriri and Korzok- one of the best location in ladakh
