I am planing to visiting Darjeeling and gangtok in month of Feb. how will be the weather. need suggestions on budget trips

It will be cold , use trivago and airbnb for budget stays.do carry enough clothes to keep you warm.

Hey Maria, Weather will be cold ( Pack jackets, woollen socks, woollen sweater, gloves, cap and moisturizer ) and you can get snowfall in Nathula and North sikkim . Darjeeling and Gangtok will be very cold. Also make sure to take water bottles after you reach there because they have water crisis always.

We wnt to sikkim in april and even then it was freezing cold. If you can bear the cold..please go ahead. It's a beautiful place and would atleast require 12 days to cover it all. Happy travelling!!

It will be really chilly, so I suggest you carry some woollens, or leather or down jackets. If you can brave the cold then you will witness some of the best views and weather that the region has to offer. There won't be too many tourists around so you can easily move about and see the markets, tourist hotspots, and local eateries. You should come to Siliguri first and take a shared cab from here. Hello. February is still a sort of wintery climate in north region. So you will find plenty of snow and damn low temperatures. But let me know from where you are starting your journey. If you are starting from Calcutta the mode of transportation are easily available and from Delhi it’s a little bit complicated.
