First figure out whether you are mountains person or beach person.... because I became bias as for my solo trip I directly went to spiti and till date irrespective how many beautiful beaches I have visited .. it could not take the place of "my love for mountains" ... so being from coastal part of India .. I still love mountains .. and if your say you are a mountain lover then .. you can either go to Western part of India i.e. Sahyadri or Himachayan range .. both the places have their own majesty !!

Hi there, To start with I'd say there are lots and lots of places in India where you can get the best out of your first Solo Trip. Mainly it depends upon preferences, as in are you a Mountain person or a Beach person or do you like Historical places etc. But in any which way if you want to go for a Solo trip, most likely the reason might be that you want to feel the true self, that blessed feeling of enjoying your own company. And keeping this same thing in Mind, I'd like to suggest you a place which is located far away in the laps of the Himalayas. A visit to this place in any time of the year and you might start questioning the existence of Heaven. This is a small hamlet named Chitkul which is located in the Kinnar District of Himachal Pradesh and is the last village at the Indo-Tibet Border. Again this place has nothing to offer like Fancy Markets or Amazing Streets Food, this is more of Peace centric kinda place where one can enjoy his/her own company at it's best (The most important purpose that a Solo Trip serves). Well, not going into much details about Chitkul here, I'd rather suggest you to go through this comprehensive blog on Chitkul - The last Village in India. (https://www.wanderworms.com/chitkul-village-the-last-village-of-india/) This will help you with everything you need to know before you visit Chitkul along with the Best time to visit. Hope it Helped :-)
