Hi Shipra, there are many good suggestions on this for where to go. But i think you should go solo with a group once. Group travels are a bridge between travelling with someone known and travelling all solo. You will have around 10-15 strangers in a group and you will get to meet new people too. This was a suggestion from one of my friend for my first solo trip to Tirthan valley and i am glad i listened to my friend and went on that trip with 15 complete strangers.
Hey. Start from a nearby location to your origin place. First thing, solo is not always to have all the experience in the world in one go so plane the nearest and know place to travel. After having some idea and experiences you will be in your second stage of travelling far and for longer period.
Nainital. A perfect getaway in the foothills of Himalayas, offers a truckload of places and things to explore. Popularly known as the Lake City of India, Nainital has much more to offer to curb your wanderlust apart from the pristine lakes. From traditional Kumaoni villages, to humongous colonial buildings, from ancient Hindu temples, to jaw-dropping vantage points, there's a little something in and around Nainital for every wandering soul, a part of themselves that they only discover after visiting the moody hillstation, nestled in a thick Pine and Oak forest, that is sure to give you the feels right when you need them
It will also depend on where you stay since it will be easy for you to commute. I am from Maharashtra and my first solo trip was to Hampi in Karnataka. You can also visit Pondicherry, Gokarna, Udaipur, Ahmedabad, Kolkata which are really good for solo travellers and can be done in 4 days easily.
