Hi Uma, South India has many options to travel solo. Pondicherry would be a great start for your solo travel in South India. It's filled with French culture, plenty of cafes, good beaches and chill vibes. You can also go to Auroville which is tranquil and full of nature. Other than this, you can go to Kerala starting with Kochi and Kumarkom backwaters. You can go to South Kerala including Thiruvananthapuram, Kovalam beach, Poovar island and Kanyakumari at last. Mysore, Ooty, Wayanad and Kodaikanal are great too. But, the first options are more suitable for solo travel.
