While the travel industry continues to stay on hold in India because of the pandemic, news have to say that Indian Passport has gotten stronger since the year 2021. According to sources, the Indian Passport now ranks 83rd in the Henley Passport Index from its earlier 90th ranking. The Henley Passport Index basically collects data from IATA i.e. International Air Transport Association. It tells the average number of countries a passport holder of a certain country can visit.
The best part about this news is that India now has visa-free access to 60 destinations. YES! You heard it right. The countries Oman and Armenia are the two latest additions where Indians can travel without having any prior visa. India has added 35 more destinations since the year 2006.
