Udaipur - the city of lake.
My journey started at Nizamuddin railway station New Delhi. I was afraid of the weather of january's month. But as soon as I reached Udaipur after overnight journey, I was happy and super excited. It was a perfect time and weather to be here. Next, I reached my room which I had booked through booking.com.
Trip route -
New Delhi -> Udaipur -> Chittorghar
My stay was at Nukkad for the first night and at Moustache for the second night, both are beside the lake. Perfect and affordable.
Second day was all set for Chittorgarh. It is approximatly 100 km away and city bus normally take 2 hours. Bus run from Ganesh Ghati to Chittorgarh every hour. I took early morning bus of 9 o'clock.
Bus droped me at Chittorgarh RSRTC Bus Station, Kidwai Nagar. Shared auto run from here to fort and take only INR 20-30.
Please note that the fort is very large, so I would advice to take a bike on rent. There are many places to visit and take more than 5 hours. I am listing, only those I visited (I walked nearly 13km that day)
Third day was for nearby places and boat ride in Udaipur. sit and relax. My day started from Monsoon Palace, Sajjan Garh.
Must have coffee at Sai Sagar Coffee House. Its soooo Good. I spended more than 2 hours here. It was so calm and peaceful.
Good bye you beautiful city. May I come again!
