I made some friends in pune while travelling they were from bhilai. And they always miss their hometown just because they dont get the food what they used to eat in bhilai. I was so curious that i had to plan specially for food. I booked my tickets in bus that cost me around 1800 rs . The journey is around 18 hours from the road . The bus that i had travelled was mahindra bus and it runs daily from pune as well from bhilai. The day has arrived an i am just ready for my journey for food.
I reached bhilai around 11.30 morning . I have booked oyo rooms in nehru nagar . I just planned to for food for i planned to stay for 2 days there. Bhilai is just beautiful city and all green around . I have travelled so many cities but bhilai is just full of nature,food,small markets around you . This was the first day so i rested there and orderd food from the hotel . At evening 6 i am out of the hotel room called my frds around and asked them to just take me to street food place . As i have reached there i was so confused what should i order first which hotel should i visit first. I first tried chicken chilly and trust me the first spoon i tasted that blew my mind because i was dying to eat chinese food that taste exactly like this . That cost me 40 rs for half plate and trust me half plate for 1 person is just freaking enough to eat for . They we moved and went to another thela that was famous with mutton paya soup. The cost is too low for food in bhilai . As i just wandering and looked for things they are just cheap price and good products and to eat . It's hygiene. The mutton paya cost me 40 rs a bowl with 1 leg peice of mutton and soup and bread to eat . As i am full i just wanted to try biriyani so we went to civic center also known as CC by new generation kids their. Cc have the best food joints i have seen from dosa to litti and from biriyani to deleicious parathas ever tasted. Thats all freshly made in their. Back to biriyani . I am amazed to taste and i am dying to stay in bhilai but i cannot as i have other travel plans to make . This is just a beautiful city with food joints all around the city . The veg biriyani cost me 150 per plate and chicken is 180 per plate. And for me this is just cheap and amazing tasted food ever after delhi and jaipur bhilai is 4 th that stand for food i guess. Amazing aroma and amazing people around . My day is done because i am totally full and have no mood to roam around because if i see something i wanna eat and trust me my stomach is just full.
Today is a last day for me and i am in love with bhilai city and the food ofcourse . I woke up early as my departure is at evening so i just wanna eat more and finish all the places where i actually wanna visit . I got ready and i am out for food. I borrowed a bike from my frds and went to have breakfast . I looked around and saw paratha corner so i took paratha and the moment i asked him how much he replied with"20 rs madam" and i am like what so cheap. Trust me bhilai is just so cheap that anyone and every one can have what they desire for . After my breakfast i went to meet my frds around as today was the last day so we planned for lunch in Grand dhillon . The moment i saw this place and the people around i was curious to go in .. this place is famous for food and their service . We had orderd so many foods and i was already half stomach as i had aloo paratha and juice before. We orderd soup,starters we got chicken chilly ,chilly manchurian. And for lunch ve orderd naan ,dalcha rice (non veg) and mix veg . I am surprised to eat that food because it was un believeble and all together cost around 460 for all this food . I am just flattered for the price that i have paid in bhilai for food. After food i boarded my bus for pune . And bhilai i ll remember for great food,amazing people around and it's a steel plant so ofcourse the nature i am gonna miss . I 'll surely plan for bhilai again this year for unexplored places. This whole trip cost me including stay and travelling is 6000 rs.
