Place near Chandigarh

In this pandemic (covid-19) everything has changed but what has not is my affection towards mountains . Although Himachal and Uttarakhand tourism required covid 19 negative report and I was in desperately in need of a vacation due to spending 5 months in isolation. 
I decided to plan a small vacation to Chandigarh from Delhi and explore chandigarh.
I took a train jan shatabdi from Delhi to Chandigarh and reached chandigarh by 7 pm . Chandigarh is expensive in hotels so I booked hotel in Panchkula sector 10 "hotel shiraaz" opposite panchkula bus stand at Rs. 1000/- per night.  My hotel was 6km away from chandigarh border and panchkula is in itself a city.
Next morning I took a scooty on rent by paying 500/- per day and 2000/- security along with an I'd proof and roam around chandigarh 's road. I was continously watching some hills far away and was wondering what is that ???
I chilled at sukhna lake , a calm and relaxing place to meditate and chill. I ate some delicious food at tawa restaurant in panchkula and just enjoyed chandigarh 'a beauty . Those green trees everywhere , every sector has a market , delicious food and it's totally safe at night.
Next morning I was very curious to know what are those hills ??? I asked my hotel manager and he told me its morni hills which is around 36 km from here you must visit and I was convinced.
I had breakfast ,packed my bag with water bottles and it was a bit dark due to rainy weather. So it was a good day to explore some unexplored hills.
I started riding and about 20km I witnessed those hills around me.
So morni hills is a dense forest and a road is made in between that forest which leads you to morni village and other villages. After riding around 10km under those dense forest. It has bird sanctuary,  it has wild animals so I will suggest you to explore morni hills in daytime only. It is covered with trees on both the sides, clouds covering sun , wind was blowing.
Do visit morni hills after having a hectic day or to admire the beauty of nature.
