The next morning, we dive right into the action.
Our first stop is the famous Rock Garden, a unique open-air exhibition created by Nek Chand using waste materials. We'll tell you the inspiring story behind this man and his incredible work. That garden was of 40 acres, and it took us 4 hours to just get around and see everything in detail.
Next, we head to the serene Sukhna Lake, where we enjoy a peaceful pontoon boat ride which cost us Rs 450 per person and there were also shikhara ride, a mini Cruise Donut ride and more. Each ride comes with different prices. After our ride of 30 minutes in the serene lake, we indulge in some delicious local snacks like laccha tokri and gol gappe.
Finally, we visit the Rose Garden, expecting a dazzling display of vibrant blooms. Unfortunately, we discover that the roses only bloom during February, leaving us slightly disappointed.
Despite this unexpected turn, we still have a wonderful time exploring Chandigarh and experiencing its vibrant culture. Join us on this video as we share our experiences, tips, and honest opinions.
