It was an amazing morning in Goa after getting down from the train and travelling to Candolim via traveller . We were a group of 16 from Bangalore , all set to explore the "Pearl of the Orient " .
Sun kissed beaches , palm trees , white sand and blue waters . This is all you need to have a relaxing vacation here .
Since we were tired of traveling , we decided to chill at the beach and hit the pub later . We were at the Candolim beach during the day time . We got our own shacks at the beach , ordered some snacks and juice , clicked pictures with the DSLR . We also decided to get into the water and have fun . The feeling of the waves hitting you is just enough for you to forget all the tension back at work and to let yourself be free .
Watching the crabs scurrying across the beach as the waves come in burying themselves is indeed exciting .
Goa is very famous for those who love to dance all night. In the evening we went to Tito's lane. Few of us had drinks and danced until midnight . The couples were in their own world and the singles were going crazy over the beats.
One thing which most of the pubs have in Goa is pole dancing and pretty ladies moving around and frankly speaking it's going to blow your mind .
Goa is a place where you really don't have to worry about transportation because you can rent a scooty for 300 per day and have the time of your life .
The next morning started with getting ready and packing swim suits for water sports . There are a lot of awesome things to do here in Goa . We decided to go for package tour for a day .
Miss Kiara was kind enough to let us on her private beach for just Rs 3k including breakfast , lunch , travelling expenses and all the water sports .
After reaching our destination , " Chiwla beach " , very soon we got ready , all set for water sports .
The very first was " Jet skiing" Good lord ! Feels amazing ! Yes the trainer will be there with you all the time and yes you will be wearing a life jacket, so no worries . I had one of the most refreshing moments of my life . The winds along with the water spraying your face is indeed a beautiful feeling.
Then came Para Sailing . I don't think I have to explain this . Come on guys !! This is a must if you are here . They even record videos for you . A camera will be tied to your wrist and I am really happy that I had that because each time I replay it , I get the same adrenaline rush .
The best was SCUBA DIVING . Wow ! Just Wow ! We sailed into the depths of the ocean to reach our diving spot . They were well equipped with the oxygen cylinders , regulators , masks , under water cameras etc. For the first time in my life I felt like a mermaid , under the sea swimming along with the fishes .
Yes guys , they will give you proper training before you go down and yes the divers are going to be with you all the time, so again no worries . This is one experience which I will never forget this lifetime .
Then came banana ride and bumpy ride which is pretty sure to make you go gaga! Moving up and down with the waves , going into the beach then floating back to the shore . Pure bliss !
After all the sports and once we freshened up came in Thali , with freshly caught fish from the seas , seasoned with Indian spices .
Once you visit this place , your mind as well as your tummy is going to be full .
We decided to rest for a while before leaving, in the hammocks near the beach , listening to soothing music .
We came back the to hotel by 8 pm , dressed up and went to BAGA beach . We had a very soothing candle light dinner on the sea shore with soft music playing in the background .
This was our last day in Goa . We decided to see the Aguada Fort , before we go back to Bangalore in the evening .
There is also a jail along with the fortress which is not open for the public.
This is a beautiful fortress of the Portuguese from the 17th century . The architecture and the defence system back then is intriguing .You will also be awestruck by the view of the Arabian sea from this fortress . Endless blue water with ships looking like small boats , miles away from you , yet feeling very close . Worth watching !
This was a very small account of how Goa greeted me with all of its beauty and good vibes .
Much love
Aarcha here ^_^
