Reach the Jaiselmar station or airport. From the station take an auto (Rs 10 per person) and go to the hotels near Gadisar lake or Golden fort. You can either prebook or book after reaching there.
BOOK HOTELS WITH OYO NEAR LAKE OR FORT.
Places to visit on the first day :
1)Golden Fort (Only fort in the world where people live)
2)Patwon ki Haweli
3)Gadisar Lake at evening ( Boating +Listen to Sufi music there)
All three are within walkable range. So no need to book any taxi or auto. You can ask anyone the way to Patwon ki Haweli from the fort. All three are within 10 minutes far away from each other.
Now comes the best part - Sand dunes. For that make a booking at camps at Sam village. There are multiple options available on the internet. I stayed in Le royal camps.

DON'T THINK ABOUT THE MONEY NOW. THIS IS THE BEST PART, I repeat you will think to come again..I am missing it while writing it.
Two things to note:
1)Sam village is 40km far from the Jaiselmar city. So you can ask the camp owner for pickup and drop, he will charge 1000 for both. Another option is there are local jeeps that go to Sam(Rs100 per person). While going to Sam, you can go to the abandoned ghost village i.e. Khuldhara if you are going to a private taxi.
ALWAYS TRAVEL LIKE A LOCAL IF YOU WANT TO KNOW ABOUT THE TRUE CULTURE.
2)Jeep safari is not included in the package. Charges for one jeep is Rs1000. There may be up to 10 persons in one jeep.
So do jeep safari at sunset time and camel safari at the sunrise time
Take your booze from the Jaiselmar city for the party at Sam because it is expensive at Sam.
Next day wake up early and go for camel safari to see the sunrise. After enjoying the pleasant morning come back to camps and eat your breakfast. Now go to Jaiselmar city and take your train or flight to home.
YOU WILL BE SAYING NOW THAT DESERT PART WAS AWESOME.
