The 55-kilometer Niagara River is located on the border of the United States and Canada.

It originates in Lake Erie and flows into Lake Ontario. During its course, it forms the majestic waterfalls of the same name, one of the most impressive in the world.

Start your day early by travelling from Times Square to the stunning Niagara Falls. Make your way towards the American-Canadian border and reach the falls after 7-8 hours of comfortable travel time.

Upon arrival at your destination, experience the adventure of the Falls onboard the historic Maid of the Mist boat cruise. If the Maid of the Mist is not running, do not be disappointed. You can enjoy the beautiful landscape from other observation points such as the Cave of the Winds Gorge Walk.

Learn about these mighty waters from your tour guide as you drink in views of the falls from varying vantage points. Bask in the mesmerizing mist that envelops you, caused by the mighty waters of Niagara!

Operating since 1846, the Maid of the Mist boat cruise will get you... misted under the Falls. The legendary boat will take you under the American and Bridal Veil section of the waterfalls and then into the Canadian section of Niagara Falls, called the Horseshoe Falls.

Alternatively, a walk to the Cave of the Winds will take you very close to the waters of Niagara Falls while on land. Ride the 53-metres elevator into the Niagara Gorge to some wooden walkways that lead to "Hurricane Deck".

From there you are just a breath away from the Bridal Veil Falls. As you confront the rushing Falls head-on, enjoy the breeze of the waters, and gaze at the ever-gleaming view in front of you.
