If you are anywhere around the East Coast, you have to visit the Niagara Falls and its allied attraction. One true beauty of nature, that starts to show its importance right when you enter into the city. At night we took a tour of the Niagara By the night for the amazing fireworks and the light and sound show. Mist rising from green-blue lights. The best place to see the falls by the night is from the Goat Islands Road, where the parking for buses and cars is located. Next morning, first thing to do was to take the boat ride, Maid of the Mist. The ferry takes you as close to the falls as possible. Very few people are aware that the fall consists of three individual falls; the american fall, the canadian fall (largest in the wordl) and the bridal veil fall. Once we were done with the maid f the mist, we covered bridal veil fall through cave of the winds, here you get to go down 7 gorges and feel the fall right in front of you.
The toy train that runs around the new your state park, makes it easier to travel the distances between these attractions as this state park is the largest state park in the USA.
Best place to take a great view of The Niagara Falls. Park your car/bus in the goat islands road and take a walk by the fall at night. Its the best place to enjoy the fireworks and light n sound show.
Its the closest one can get to the Niagara falls, except for actually being in it. No matter from which side you take the tour, Canada or USA, the ferry takes you equally close to the falls crossing the American Fall, which is comparatively smaller and then finally to the Canadian fall or the Niagara falls as we know it.
The reason its called so, is for the way it falls from the top and finally meeting 7 gorges down to the river. Like the veil of the bride on her wedding day, water pure as white finds its way into the Niagara River.
About 5 to 7 mins. away from the maid of the mist, by the toy train is the three sisters island. This was named after three daughters of an army personnel. Its one of the most shot scenes in movies and a site for marriage photography etc.
Walk down the decks along thousands of sea gulls. Of the seven decks, only a few are open most of the time due to weather conditions. But even one or two decks take you to the best of the world. Click pictures of and around the bridal veil fall surrounded by the roaring sound of this beautiful fall.
If you are looking for good Indian food on a foreign land, this is the place. The flavors are no less than that of any fine Indian restaurant.
