Highlights
Behold the world-famous city with fresh eyes by cycling along its renowned riverbanks and exploring charming side streets on your own two wheels. As you pass countless metropolitan landmarks and notable structures such as Shakespeare's Globe and London Bridge, take time out for photos.
Tower Bridge is more spectacular than postcard silhouettes can show, especially at dusk when its twin peaks are illuminated by the watery evening sun. But its real marvel lies within its intricate steel cables and wires which work to keep its systems functioning, like an intricate Spirograph drawing.
Snail through London on this unique bicycle tour and discover stories about royal palaces and Jack the Ripper reenactments while riding through its bustling backstreets, sampling Borough Market street cuisine and admiring Tower Bridge (a visit to which is optional but included in this tour). All the while riding an exquisite English Pashley bicycle.

This path heads west towards Erith before turning onto roads on its outskirts before rejoining a riverside path around Thamesmead where you can enjoy fantastic views of the estuary. From there it heads inland through Woolwich town centre before rejoining it near Greenwich Foot Tunnel where cycling is prohibited.
Tour the 5-mile perimeter road of Angel Island by bicycle and enjoy breathtaking views of San Francisco Bay and Golden Gate Bridge from Angel's breathtaking location. Get up close and personal with one of San Francisco Bay Area's iconic landmarks!
Getting There
Drivers parking at Tower Bridge Circle car park have increasingly turned to Jump bikes (formerly Social Bicycles). While coronavirus issues persist, many clustered rides remain parked with large areas uncovered.
If you are renting your own bike, Fisherman's Wharf near Aquatic Park and Fort Mason offer bike rental companies. Sports Basement may be best-suited to provide this service as they are closest to the Golden Gate Bridge.
Our tours are tailored for people with some cycling experience. Most of the route takes place in parks, large courtyards, and along riverbanks on bike paths; therefore you don't need to be an expert cyclist. That being said, there is one steep downhill section at Fort Baker; once in Sausalito you may share narrow streets with cars.
Safety
On Sunday, thousands of cyclists will pass through this area during the Pan Mass Challenge. Padelers will use several scenic routes inland and along Lake Ontario; color-coordinated directional arrows and Big Mac safety wagons will be out to guide riders toward safe routes.
TIP: Before setting out on any journey by bike, make sure your GPS or phone battery is fully charged or you have extra batteries available to stay with your bike as it explores all its corners and crevices. This will enable it to keep pace as you explore new corners along your route.
Take time to appreciate the view as you head toward Sausalito. Take time to admire the 85-year-old Art Deco suspension bridge as you pass by it, with Pacific Ocean stretching out before your left. The stop will surely pay off!
