The first day will be kept for your arrival at Cairo International Airport, where you'll meet our travel representative and will be escorted at the airport, post your immigration, baggage claim and customs, right until your transfer to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
We'll begin exploring the wonders that Cairo has to offer, with a visit to one of the Seven Wonders of the World - the Pyramids of Giza and the great Sphinx. An optional lunch will be followed by a visit to The Papyrus institute and the Perfume shop. The evening will draw upon your transfer to the train station, where we'll escort you to board the luxurious sleeper train to Luxor. Dinner will be served on boarding the train.
The train will arrive at Luxor early in the morning. Our tour guide and travel representative will meet you and assist you in your transfer via car, to visit the East Bank of Luxor, where you'll get to explore the alleys of Karnak & Luxor Temples. Embarkation and lunch will be on boarding the cruise ship and the rest of the day will be left free for leisurely activities, The following evening, we'll have an open buffet dinner and you'll spend the night under the starry sky on the cruise in Luxor.
Post a sumptuous breakfast, we'll visit the West Bank of Luxor, where you'll get to see the exquisite and much talked about Valley of The Kings followed by the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch will be served once we are on board and sailing to Edfu, The following evening will have dinner and Galabya party, with the rest of the night on the cruise in Edfu.
After a delicious buffet breakfast, we'll visit Edfu Temple via Horse Carriages, which will give you a true dramatic experience. The sail to Kom Ombo, for the visit to Kom Ombo Temple on foot will truly give a rustic feel to your journey. By dusk, we'll sail our way overnight to Aswan.
Post the buffet breakfast while on board of the cruise, we'll visit the High Dam, followed by the unfinished Obelisk and Philae Temple. For lunch we'll be back to the cruise. After noon we'll head for a visit to the botanical garden along with a splendid view of Agha Khan Mausoleum by Felucca. The night will be spent on the cruise in Aswan.
The itinerary for the day will be to head to Abu Simble and be back to Aswan and then back to Cairo. So after our breakfast on board, we'll disembark from the cruise and board an A/C bus to Abu Simble, followed by half a day of sight-seeing. By afternoon, we'll transfer to the train station to Board the Sleeper train to Cairo, which is where we'll relish a traditional dinner.
The train will arrive in Cairo in the morning and we'll transfer to the Egyptian Museum. Here, escorted by a professional Egyptologist guide, you'll find the greatest Collections of Egyptian antiquities in the world, which is also home to King Tutankhamen's treasures. Lunch will be done at an authentic traditional restaurant, whilst overlooking the Nile. Post lunch, there will be a visit to the historic and old city of Cairo, where you'll visit the hanging church and Ben Azer Synagogue. The following evening will be spent at Khan El-khalili bazaar, amidst the spice and gold souks of Egyptian traders and beautifully chaotic market spaces. You'll stay overnight at the hotel. The next morning, post breakfast, you'll be transferred to the airport for your final departure.
