Day 1: Arrival in Egypt
Arrival at Cairo airport. Meet and assist by our representative who will help you through the arrival and visa regulations. Transfer to your hotel for free time.
Day 2: Great Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Saqqara
Your real holiday starts right now.
Today, you will visit the Giza Plateau. Today’s tour includes the Great Pyramids of Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure with the great Sphinx. The only ancient wonder which still remains (Khufu’s pyramid) awaits you. Are you ready to discover it from inside?
Today you will learn about the history of the pyramids, how they were constructed, and why they were constructed? Then on to the first pyramid in history, the Step Pyramid of King Djoser at Saqqara. Transfer back to your hotel.
Day 3: Alexandria Highlights
Today, you are driving to the beautiful City of Alexandria, the capital city of Egypt during the Greco-Roman era. Your tour includes the famous Roman Catacombs at Kom El Shoqafa, Pompey’s Pillar, the Citadel of Qaitbay, and the Library of Alexandria from outside. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant. After the tour, you will drive back to Cairo.
Day 4: Egyptian Museum, Saladin Citadel and Khan El-Khalili
Today, you are exploring the fantastic contents of the historical Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square in Cairo. Hundreds of objects from all periods of Egypt’s past are displayed on the two floors of the museum. The eye catching objects such as the golden treasure of Tutankhamen, the silver treasure of Psusennes I, the diorite statue of Khafre and several other pieces are on view.
From the museum to the Citadel of the Sunni Muslim leader Saladin, built-in 1172 to protect Cairo against the Crusaders. The White Mosque of Mohammed Ali Pasha is a prominent feature of the citadel.
You will finish your tour today at the historical bazaar of Khan El-Khalili, the largest bazaar in the Middle East. Transfer back to your hotel.
Day 5: Fly to Hurghada
After some days tours, you will enjoy some relaxation, so today, you fly to the beautiful city of Hurghada on the Red Sea, where you can enjoy 3 days (5th to 7th day), of the underwater life and activities of the Red Sea. Tours such as diving, safari, snorkeling, glass boat, and submarine rides are available upon request.
Day 6: Hurghada

Day 7: Drive to Luxor - Nile Cruise
After two days in Hurghada, you are driving to Luxor to start your 4-night Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan. Upon arriving on board, you will check into your room, have your lunch and relax. After that, you are invited to explore the largest temple in the world, the Temple of Karnak, and the majestic Temple of Luxor. Both temples were dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut, and Khonsu. Overnight is in Luxor.
Day 8: Kings Valley, Hatshepsut Temple and Colossi of Memnon
Today, you will visit the glorious tombs of the Valley of the Kings. The pharaohs during the New Kingdom ceased building pyramids and cut their tombs deep into the mountain trying to hide them from the grave robbers. There are 65 tombs in the Valley of the Kings, your guide will suggest the best 3 tombs of the ones opened to visit.
From the glorious Valley of the Kings to the unique Temple of the female pharaoh Hatshepsut who served as solo pharaoh for about 20 years.
You will end your trip at the giant Colossi of Memnon which survives from the Temple of pharaoh Amenhotep III.
Back to the ship to set sail to Edfu via the Lock of Esna. Overnight is in Edfu.
Day 9: Edfu & Kom Ombo Temples
You will wake up on the voices of the horsemen who are waiting to take you to the Temple of Horus in Edfu. This temple is the most intact temple in Egypt and was built during the Greco-Roman period. After visiting the temple in Edfu, you will sail up to Kom Ombo to visit the twin Temple of Sobek, the Crocodile god, and Horus, the Falcon god. Then proceed to the Crocodile Museum in the vicinity of the temple. After visiting the temple, the ship will sail up to Aswan where it moors for the next two days.
Day 10: Aswan Tour
Welcome to the lovely city of Aswan. Your tour today includes the High Dam, the granite quarry of the Unfinished Obelisk, and the amazing Temple of Philae. Back on board for lunch. Late afternoon, you will take the traditional sailboat called a Felucca for a ride around Elephantine Island. Free evening in Aswan.
Day 11: Fly back to Cairo
Disembarkation. Transfer to Aswan airport to fly back to Cairo. Transfer to your hotel in Cairo. Free time.
Day 12: Fly home
Transfer to Cairo airport for final departure. It is really sad to leave so ask our guides about your next adventure in Egypt.
