The Brahmaputra river basin has bestowed the land of Assam with natural wonders. When it comes to places to visit in Assam, one of the names always makes its impression. Kaziranga national park distance of almost 228 km from Guwahati.
It was an exotic experience of my life to visit one of the UNSCO world Heritage site I was very excited I watch many episode of rhinos in different channel Discovery, national geography.
At the time i reach the kaziranga np I saw a few one-horned Rhino grazing behind the elephant-grass meadows. On one side there is a herd of Asiatic buffaloes with their newly born calves the diverse wildlife in the park roams around freely, it’s a true bliss to watch them. Apart from 70℅ of the one horned rhnios population in the park there is so much to more to see than just rhinos you can also tigers dear., wild Buffalo and a variety of bird's.
Riding at elephant safari is always a moral Conemdun but jeep safari are the alternative and it's a cheap than elephant you pay for the whole jeep which will arranged by your hotel.
But in kaziranga National Park there is some area like eastern western central each area has a different price range so you should good bargainer. You are not guaranteed to see one horned rhinos in which zone.
After coming back from safari I simple suggest a sights seen local market where you one horned 🦏 souvenir and you can visit tea field it wouldn't be assam if you didn't explore a few tea field & rather than a famous one The hathkuto plantation was one of the first established in asssam.
How do i reach at first take train Or flight arrived in guwahati then comes to the bus stand is at paltan bazaar and ASTC govt. buses run daily to kaziranga. This bus will cost you around 500-2000 you book Or check from different apps like redbus etc. One you reach the kaziranga you can see there plenty of hotel to stay in lower rate it will 1000-3000 normal room with complementary breakfast.
