Day 1

Had arrived the previous day late evening, and had dinner of warm onion soup and GulyΓ‘s!

On the day started at 11 am, visited unicum museum.
Then travelled (by tram 2 and then bus 16) to fisherman's bastion and saw views of Stephen first king of Hungary's statue, St Stephen's Basilica and Hungarian Parliament House  as well as Liberty statue on Gellert hill from afar as it was a cloudy foggy day.
Walked back to Pest on SzΓ©chneyi chain bridge and travelled (by tram 2) to Great market hall (shopped for souvenirs, ate langΓ³s). Also did some shopping on VΓ‘mhΓ‘z krt.
Returned to Airbnb room about 7.30p.m. had a warm meal and went straight to bed!

Day 2

Started the day at 12.3o p.m. and visited Great hall for shopping with another friend.
Then visited bookstores (Massolit Bookstore, Yellow Zebra Bookstore), roamed some cobbled streets, saw Opera house and had a meal at Bamba Marha Burger Bar.
After much contemplation to go visit the SzΓ©chenyi thermal bath had to skip it but instead went in for an Aroma oil massage at Spirit Thai massage. No regrets in retrospective given Corona happened a couple weeks later πŸ˜‚
And ofcourse more food for the hungry soul in Hungary, had kΓΌrtΕ‘skalΓ‘cs at Molnar's kΓΌrtΕ‘skalΓ‘cs!

Departed the next day morning by flight.

ProTips:
Roam around with a 3 day all transport pass - cheap and efficient.
Have some (limited amount of) Hungarian forint.
Most attractions are connected by public transport or are walkable.
Do try the local cuisine!
