A photo essay on a road trip to western Assam

Assam puts on a green robe after a few spells of rains with the onset of monsoon. The
magnificent hue of the season can be observed on road journeys through the country sides of erstwhile Goalpara district( Now Bongaigaon,Kokrajhar and Goalpara). It has been a ritual for this ordinary man to travel to these places during monsoon. The Saal forest of Goalpara,clean Garo villages like Nigamghola or Nishangram, plumpy jackfruits or juicy pineapples and organic vegetables of country orchards or markets, the scene of seasonal sowing of paddy crops, and traditional fishing call me again and again to my favourite destination.
Braving inclement weather, I ventured out for a whirlwind tour of a couple of days and tried to capture everything through the lenses.I shall be looking forward to your feedback.
