Places around Bir Billing

If you reach bir by evening

Check-in in your home stay or hotel first, get some rest for half or an hour after reaching bir. Then you can go to the bir market and explore some cafes, you get so many options in bir for exploring beautiful cafes with amazing ambience. The northern cafe is the most popular in bir for sunset view and amazing vibe, the food of the northern cafe is average but with beautiful sky paintings and sunset glimpse you forget about the food. This cafe is about 300 or 400 meters walking distance from market.some of more amazing cafes are Silver lining cafe, june 16 cafe, the bru master etc.

If you have never witnessed the colorful sunset ever then this time you can also enjoy the beautiful sunset evening with your loved one at the landing site of bir.

On your 2nd day after having breakfast, you can do little hike of around 2 to 3 kms from main road or if you have vehicle then it becomes little shorter to 1.5 to 2 kms to waterfall. There is a village named gunehar from where you have to take right to go to waterfall, this village is on the road to billing. In bir there are two waterfalls, the first one is on the side of the road in gunehar village for that you don't have to hike its just 100 meters away from the parking point. And the 2nd one is 1.5 kms away from the car parking point in bangoru village and you have to hike 1.5 kms.Initial 1.2 kms trek is easy and the last stretch of 3kms is very bad conditioned in that stretch you have to take off your shoes and walk through the stream. The waterfall is beautiful and mesmerizing but if you are traveling in monsoon in himachal then i suggest you to stay away from streams, they become deadlier at any time in monsoon.

After having wonderful time in waterfall you can do lunch in gunehar village, can have maggi and tea with beautiful view of the valley or can have proper lunch in gunehar if you find with any cafe. Then looking forward to the day you can go to Billing which is around 16 to 17 km from gunehar village, if you don't have vehicle then you can hire taxi from bir to reach billing. I suggest you guys to go to billing in the evening time or if weather is cloudy then you can go there anytime.In billing you can take the experience of  paragliding which costs you around 2k to 2.5 k.

we were planned two day trip so early morning in day 3 we left but if you want to continue exploring more places then you can go to barot valley from bir billing and from barot valley you can go to rajgundha also.
