Gujarat is a state which offers so many tourist places to its visitors . I found the city of Bhuj so relaxing and tourist friendly . Everyone has a warm heart . We planned to visit this beach once we had started the planning of this vacation . All my friends including me were excited to travel to the state of Gujarat. One place which i got to know was Mandvi Beach. It was winter time as we had visited this beach in December last year . There was no car facility to the beach and the local bus also drops a km away from the beach . We had to take auto or tuktuk to this place. The weather was extremely hot . We had our clothes which we needed after we get back from the beach as who would not enter the water when u r at a beach . The water was chilling . It was a relaxing and by far the best feeling for a traveller like me. The auto took 10 rs from the bus stop to beach . The bus took 100 rs from city to the beach . We spent around 2-3 hours at the beach clicking photos and making some really cool timelapses. We were 5 friends in total . There is a little bit of accomodation problem near the beach so we had to return back to city . Otherwise we had planned for a stopover at the beach for the night . I had a wish to take an early morning timelapse of the rising sun. Wish to come really soon again at this beautiful beach . All the North Indians can travel to this beach if they really wish to have a glimpse of beaches that are in Goa .. All in all the best part was the coconut water and having a camel ride . The ride cost is 20 rs per person and they even charge for clicking a picture wid camels. The atmosphere was so cool and chilling . I really recommend travelers and visitors to make sure u visit this beach when u rin Gujarat .

It was a boring day from start, so after lunch we (family) decided to go somewhere nice. Being a beach enthusiastic person the first place that came in my mind was Mandvi! It is approximately a 2 hours drive from my house. So around 2 p.m. we left for Mandvi. I was driving so there are no pictures of the roads lol. We've been to Mandvi Beachso many times that the route is saved in mind like I've downloaded the maps in it. I've also attached the screenshot of a Google search for your convenience 😉 and you can read more about Mandvi on Wikipedia or on Gujarat Tourism site. The pictures doesn't seem to look like it's from Mandvi Beach (Public beach not a private beach of a resort). Mentioning that there are many resorts in Mandvi as well that have a private beach but I don't feel like paying money just to access the beach. After watching the peaceful sunset, we headed to our car and I drove us back to home. We were home by 10 p.m. and slept early that day! BTW we ate street food in the late evening so we didn't feel the need to eat dinner. So that sums up my road trip to one of my favorite places! (P.S. all the pictures are straight from the phone camera, no filter was applied) And the the beach was pretty crowded at the entrance but you can avoid that by walking a little further just like I got for these pictures 😉 Now finally I'll finish this by the tagline "Kuch din to guzaro Gujarat me!"

After much deliberation we decided to move on and check out the next place on our list. After a treacherous 3 hour ride we finally reached our destination - Mandvi Beach. When you think of beach, you probably might imagine yourself holding a beer and listening to some tropical music.Mandvi will remove that thought from your mind, all i can say about Mandvi is that it’s different. Different from all the other beaches you might have gone to.With scores of local food joints and activities happening around you, you won't be disappointed. After gorging on some delicious local cuisine we decided to move out as it was getting darker and we still had to cover quite a bit.

It is a private beach owned by Mandvi Beach Resort and one of the cleanest one that we have visited. You can stay at this beach in the luxurious tents or just spend a day( as we did) by paying 550 INR per person(lunch is complimentary). Last day we spent at Mandvi beach which was the most relaxing part of the trip. We had to skip eating Dabeli at Mandvi because of time constraint (Madvi is place where Dabeli was invented). We felt that we should have spent more time at each destination but then we hope we go back again someday.

The next day, I planned to visit Mandvi beach, which was again 60 kms from Bhuj. Though there are many options available. I choose the cheapest, the state-run buses, which had cost me around INR 35 to reach the beach. Though a little congested, Mandvi’s is appropriate for families. Unlike the beaches in Goa or any other in the world, the shoreline is smaller and do not offer any alcoholic beverages. However, there are several water sports available for everyone to enjoy.
