DERAS
At the edge of Chandaka forest Deras and Jhumka are two small dams. The best part of the location is that its not much crowded. You can spend peaceful hours just by sitting or walking along the dam side. There is also a nature camp for overnight stays. The clear blue water with the backdrop of vivid green forest and red soil is as picturesque as it can get.
Caution
Its mentioned at places that there has been past cases of crocodile attack near the dam. So to keep safe it's better not to go in the water.
