Truly Majestic.. Welcome to the Laxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara, Gujarat

Its a 2 two hour ride to Baroda or you can call it Vadodara from my town Bharuch.. Baroda is well connected to Mumbai and Delhi by rail or bus also.

Well LVP is giant structure built in 1889 by Maharaja of Baroda state and is one of the largest palaces in world and almost 4 times bigger than Birmingham palace. And is also the largest private residence in the world as it's a private property and royal family still resides there..

Well you can still visit the few areas of palace and they provide audio guided tour to the palace and it takes almost a hour which costs 200 INR per person.. I feel it's completely worth it.. photography is not allowed inside the palace.. You can buy snacks and water bottle inside the palace. And also one must try Baroda's famous Mahakali Usal just near the palace.. 15 min by walk or you can get a cab..

Well it's a royal feel !!! Reflects a golden times in India... Awesome place..
