Jaipur, the pink city, was the first planned city in India. The neat streets and great architect will make you fall in love with the royal city! We (Me, Param and Gurpreet) planned a two days trip to Jaipur, we spent the days like -
Day 01 (Amer Fort, Nahargarh Fort, Jaipur City)
Gulab ji chai wale - A good place to have tea and muska bun . It's amazing places and famous for its tea . Gulab ji ki chai nahi pee to kya pia . A must try place .
Lunch at Handi restaurant at MI Road.
Amer Fort :: This fort offers beautiful views and splendid architecture to admire. The Amer fort is undoubtedly one of the finest forts in India and a must visit Jaipur attraction to be included in Jaipur Itinerary.
Nahargarh Fort:: It is located at a distance of 8-10 KMs from Jaigarh fort. This fort offers a better view of the Jaipur city. In the evening, this fort looks beautiful with a splendid backdrop. Rang de Basanti movie shooting took place here. I am referring to the scene where Aamir & Sharman are drinking beer and later fall in a pool.
Once Upon a Time Restaurant in the Nahargarh Fort :: Lets start with the ambience. It has the perfect view of the whole city and going at night makes it more marvellous. If you eat outside you feel like eating on your terrace ,It's bound to relinquish your childhood memories. The only issue was the Limited options and the food was a bit overpriced.
Day 02 (Visit to Bhangarh Fort)
Bhangarh fort is a place worth a visit. The road from Jaipur via Dausa is comparatively better than via Sariska. Bhangarh, a little off the main road in a beautiful secluded area, just below the foothills of Aravali hills.
One finds the entrance of the ruined fort through the labyrinth of Nartikyon ki haveli. The first thing you find is a well kept but deserted temple which is housed by monkeys and bats who screech to keep you grounded. The gnarled banyan and peepal trees, the forlorn bawli, the palace precincts and beautiful kewra plantations growing without a care gives a dejavu. With goosebumps around the neck just wander around the dilapidated building and find the wind whispering about the untold stories of the palace. The hill top houses a chatri which is strategically located and is like a panopticon. A must visit if one is around the area.
Then back to Jaipur and visited local corners of the city like Rah Mandir, Sharma D Dabha, 100% Rock, Roof Top Bar at Ujjwal Premier Hotel, Coffee at Statue Circle etc.
When you travel with friends even Ordinary ride becomes best moments of life.
