Day 1

Bhandardara Camp

Camping isn't a new thing,but have you ever camped for the Fire Flies?! Well that's the novelty of this camp.The camp site is situated on the banks of the Wilson Dam at Shinde. We booked the tour at 1299 RS per pax which included tent ,snacks ,dinner and breakfast. And but obvious the firefly tour is also included! And that is a once in a lifetime experience.

As soon as we reach the parking spot,from there we have to hike for about 500 m to reach to the camp site.

We got 2 tents to ourselves.These were on a twin sharing basis.The tents included blankets and a foam mat.

The bonfire at the camp. It was such a calming experience to sit by the fire and watch the Kalsubai Peak (Highest Peak of the Western Ghats) from the tent.

What can be better than a bottle of chilled beer,a sky full of stars and a view like no other!

We woke up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise and that was an experience of a lifetime!
