This is one of the most popular tourist places in Jammu. Patnitop is a beautiful hill station, nestled in towering pine trees. The fierce Chenab river flows in close proximity. The list of things to do in Patnitop is endless. You can go on beautiful hikes, do paragliding, and enjoy the beautiful view of mountains through Skyview Patnitop, India's highest ropeway.

Patnitop is a versatile place. You can enjoy a long vacation here in the beautiful and cozy wooden cottages, or you can visit it for a day for a perfect day out in nature. It's also a treat for all the fellow instagrammers as each and every nook and corner is breathtakingly beautiful.

What is the best time to visit Patnitop, you ask? Anytime you want. In summers, the place offers much needed respite with its cold climate. And, if you decide to visit in winters, you can enjoy the breathtaking view of pine forests covered in snow.

20 Kms west of Patnitop, is this beautiful place called Sanasar. It is an enchanting cup-shaped meadow, with a small lake. This place will surely bewitch you with its beauty. Even the drive leading up to this place is full of scenic views. The place is like a hidden mystery, surrounded by tall trees from all sides.

You can enjoy adventure activities like Zip Line, Paragliding or have a relaxing boat ride in the lake situated in the middle of the meadow. If you are too lazy to do any of these, you can just grab a bowl of piping hot maggi and enjoy the view. I can guarantee that you'll get a taste of what heaven feels like.

Sanasar is also a trekkers' paradise, thanks to all the beautiful trekking trails. Trekkers can enjoy the panoramic views of the Panchari Valley from the breath-takingly beautiful trails of Ladoo Ladi from Madhatop and Shanta Gala.

A perfect way to spend a night in Sanasar is to stay at an adventure camp. Enjoy the night under starry sky and spend some quality time with your loved ones, or fellow travellers around a bonfire. Could there be anything more perfect?
