Recently, I embarked on a delightful road trip from Bangalore to Bekal, and let me tell you, it was an experience to cherish! Here’s a glimpse of my three-day adventure in this hidden gem of Kerala.

Day 1: Setting Off on the Journey

With anticipation bubbling in our hearts, we hit the road early in the morning, eager to leave behind the city chaos and embrace the serenity of the coastal paradise. The journey from Bangalore to Bekal is approximately 350 kilometers, offering a smooth drive through picturesque landscapes and lush greenery.

As we cruised along the well-maintained highways, the excitement grew with every passing mile. The road trip itself became an integral part of our vacation, filled with laughter, music, and endless chatter.

Day 2: Immersing in Bekal’s Charm

Waking up to the gentle sea breeze and the soothing sound of waves crashing against the shore was a dream come true. Our accommodation in Bekal provided us with stunning views of the Arabian Sea, instantly transporting us to a state of tranquility. We stayed in Redmoon Resort, which is on Redmoon Beach. After a hearty breakfast, we set out to explore the treasures of Bekal. Our first stop was the majestic Bekal Fort, a colossal structure steeped in history and surrounded by lush greenery. The panoramic views from the fort were simply breathtaking, offering a glimpse into Kerala’s rich heritage.

Next on our itinerary was the serene Bekal Beach, where we spent hours basking in the golden sunlight, indulging in beach activities, and relishing the local seafood delicacies served by the beachside shacks. Despite being a long weekend, the beach was surprisingly uncrowded, allowing us to enjoy its beauty in peace.

Day 3: Bid Farewell to Bekal

As the final day of our trip dawned upon us, we reluctantly bid farewell to the tranquil haven of Bekal. However, our hearts were filled with cherished memories and a longing to return soon.
