Bath City: A Vintage city in England with Roman Architecture.

Tripoto

On a confused weather day, We decided to visit one of the most beautiful city in England, Bath City. We started at 9 in the morning, and after two hours of drive, we approached our destination. It was sunny throughout the drive, but as we were driving down the city, it started raining. But the view of the city was mesmerizing. Every corner, streets, and shops seemed so pretty. This city has Roman architecture, however, an obvious British culture.

The Roman bath

The ancient Roman bath is the main go-to location. The Roman bath has a beautiful ancient Roman architecture and a lot of history. You have to pay to get into the Roman bath and the museum. By this time dark rain clouds were broken by bright sunshine, and the green water of the Roman Baths against a bright blue sunshiny sky looked so beautiful. The natural steaming waters were known for their curative properties. We also saw a guide in ancient wear.

Bath Abbey:

It was my first experience in a church, and it was so peaceful. The bath abbey church organizes a 20-minute service with Christmas carol. No reservations or tickets are required to attend this carols. It was a beautiful Carol sung be Abbey choirs and audiences.

Walking down the street

Roaming around this beautiful city is the most wonderful thing I did in Bath. This is a very walkable city. Walking to this city is like walking to the old vintage times. Even the residential roads are lovely. We went at the time of the Christmas, so there were children singing Christmas songs, Santa Claus and many street performers. They added charm to the city.

Pulteney Bridge:

It started getting dark, and we headed toward Pulteney bridge. To walk along the river Avon will promise a few stunning perspectives of the city. It's peaceful to walk along the calm flow of the river. A perfect place to snap some beauty.

Christmas Market:

We were lucky to visit bath Christmas market on its last day. There seemed to be a variety of local and open shops including places to eat and drink. The market is spread out in many areas including stalls of local crafts, cheese, chocolate, and wine. A stall of magic tricks was one of my favorite. The twinkling Christmas lights, the divine smell of dried fruit garlands and the seasonal festive sounds were making the atmosphere so magical and vibrant.

It's difficult to cover all the places in the bath in just one day trip.I am eagerly waiting to revisit this city in the season of summer to enjoy this city in a different color.

Much Love and gratitude. ❤
