Wonders of Gaudi In Spain

Park Güell is a garden complex with architectural elements situated on the hill of El Carmel in the Gràcia district of Barcelona, Catalonia,Spain. It was designed by the Catalan architect Antoni Gaudí and built in the years 1900 to 1914. It has an extension of 17.18 ha (0.1718 km²), which makes it one of the largest architectural works in south Europe. It is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Works of Antoni Gaudí". This garden is one of the most beautiful and unique I've ever seen. It's not the surrounding a.k.a trees or lakes or floral which emphasise the beauty of the building, Instead it's the park itself which make the surrounding look so wonderful. The ceiling are all plastered with tiles and ceramics as well! Awesome right? Even broken cups and teapot can be found on these ceiling mosaic! A thin net is covered around to prevent injuries on tourist if the tiles are to fall by chance.

On our first day in the city of Barcelona, we decided to try something local and authentic. So we walk around the town and just happened to pick this cafe! Café & Tapas is its name and we were glad that we visited here! We were having hard time to choose the type of Paella and Tapas we wanted. But usually Paella comes with seafood while Tapas come with different kind of toppings. If I'm not mistaken, Paella comes with beef too! After hesitating for a while, we decided to ask the waiter for help!

To be honest, this is the best hotel among the three countries that I've visited. I was satisfy with the stay and highly recommended for tourists who are visiting Barcelona because the hotel is located almost at the central of the town. Around 10 minutes walk from the Provença Metro though. Can be quite a challenge to complete the walk after an exhausting sight-seeing around the town. I was quite disappointed with the fact that the WiFi service is only provided at the hotel lobby. So the only time I can online was the 10 minutes before I went out and after I came back to the hotel. But it's beneficial in other way.... So that the guests can rest well in the room, not social networking until midnight etc.

A piece of art which is so loved by my baby boy, and now has become one of my favorite too! Any one of you out there have any idea who was the architect for this magnificent masterpiece? He is non other than Antoni Gaudi. I fell in love with all his work after visiting them! Then we went to the underground exhibition part where descriptions,concept, architectures, designs for Sagrada are introduced. Sagrada Familia is still marred by cranes and scaffolding today after 80+ years of construction! And will be finished in 2026 on the centennary of Gaudi's death. A range of architects have continued Gaudi's legacy, trying to finish the church according to the plans he had devised. The world is so blessed that he left such amazing masterpieces before his death. Seriously I was awed and amazed by all his works! Love each and every one of them because all of them are different and unique in their very own way. You must be thinking that I am exaggerating but I can assure you that I DID NOT! See and visit those works of Gaudi if you have the chance and you will understand.

The underwater/sea-themed building is just so magical and unbelievable. Definitely don't miss this out!

A local market where local people and tourists visit. You can get to taste lots of local foods from sweets to pizza. There is a very fancy egg hut that I find it fancy :)
