Bangkok, Thailand, is famous for its busy streets, colours, and culture. Although it’s hard to get bored here, if you’re a first-timer too long here might make you feel monotonous. And too short a time here will tire you out running from place to place. Here is a perfect 4-day itinerary that covers everything but leaves you plenty of time to relax and enjoy.
Day One
Wat Phra Kae or the Temple of the emerald buddha and the Grand Palace and the biggest tourist attractions of Thailand. They are situated adjacent to each other and you can easily cover these two beautiful structures on your first day here. You can find comfortable suites in Bangkok at hotels just 15mins away from here.
Day Two
A short walk away from the Grand Palace, you can find Wat Pho; the largest reclining Buddha statue in Bangkok. It is a 46m long and 15m high reclining statue depicting the death and Nirvana of the Lord Buddha. There are guided tours available if you’re interested in the temple’s history and architecture.
Day Three
No tour of Bangkok is complete without a shopping spree. There are so many places to shop; from street markets to posh shopping malls. You can walk around in this shopping mecca, pick up lovely souvenirs for your friends and family back home and relax and Lumpini Park.
Day Four
The last but certainly not the least in your itinerary is a visit to the Golden Mount. Once you climb the 300 steps up the mountain, you will be greeted by a beautiful 360-degree view of the city. There are plenty of golden statues and structures along your way and a café too if you need a rest.
