Bangkok is one of the most visited tourists destinations with some really well done accommodation options. From hotels to hostels to BnBs, you're spoilt for choice.

Since I was travelling solo, I knew I had to have good accessibility to public transport. And during my search for such a property, I found Tamni.

About the Property

It is a very new property, set up in early 2022, with a bar, free parking space, a terrace, a common kitchen and dining area and a lounge to relax. It is primarily a hostel with options of both shared and private rooms available.

It is super clean and has been done up very tastefully with minimal yet classy design.

How to Reach?

If you are reaching directly from the Suvarnabhumi Airport, the best way is to take a taxi, which will take about 30 mins and cost 400-600 Baht approximately.

Located in the heart of Bangkok, Tamni is 1 min walk from the MRT (Hua Lamphong station), a 3 mins walk from the Bangkok railway station and a good 10 mins walk will take you to China Town.

Most of the attractions like Siam Square One, Lumphini Park, Wat Arun, Grand Palace are about 15-20 mins taxi ride.

How much will it cost?

A night in the dormitory costs around 1200 INR per bed and a private room costs somewhere between 4500-5000 for 2-6 people. The property is available on various online platforms like booking.com, MMT and HostelWorld.

If you are looking for a cozy, comfortable and an affordable stay in Bangkok, bookmark Tamni!
