My Dreamy Staycation at the Bengaluru Marriott, Whitefield!

We arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, we opted for the Staycation package at their Executive Lounge which included buffet lunch, dinner and breakfast for the next day. We walked into a stunning high-ceiling lobby. The two-story high lobby was spacious and allowed uninterrupted natural light to seep in through the ceiling to floor glass windows.

We made our way to the room next, which was located on the 15th floor (Executive Lounge) and offered stunning views of the city the minute we entered. I'm a big believer in staycations & staying at a nice hotel for a break, even if it is in your own city. You can save on the travel cost and time and invest it in your stay, just to relax - because you definitely need it once in a while!

The room was extremely spacious and the staff were always at our service. The bedroom had its own sitting area by the window and was also pool-facing! There was more than ample water supplied in the room. I always appreciate this in a hotel, given that many times during our stays we only notice two half-liter bottles placed in the room. The wardrobe and storage space was behind the bedroom that was separated by a partition wallboard and had ample storage space. The marble bathroom had a bathtub fitted to soak in and also a separate shower area.

The suite was infused with tasteful brown color schemes, rich furnishings and contrasting views of the greenery and the city from the two windows; all arranged in a beautiful elegant manner. All the rooms had ample lighting and the dark brown color scheme did not give any of the rooms a gloomy touch.

The Food:

Cannot stress on the fact how buffet's uplift my mood instantly! Since we'd opted for the Staycation package we had a Set-menu of food that we could choose from, and order to our heart's content. Marriott's wide variety of menu at M-Café almost never disappoints. Breakfast buffet being my most favorite! They also have a number of cuisines you can choose from - I happened to mix it up a little to have a bit of everything!

Exploring the gorgeous property is another favorite thing to do of mine. The room might be gorgeous, but the amenities are just as lovely. There is an outdoor pool, a fully equipped gym and a separate Yoga studio.

The pool was closed due to Covid-19 regulations, but it was absolutely serene to just sit by the pool area and enjoy the breeze.

Bottom-line:

My suggestion would definitely tilt the scale towards staying on the higher floors, as it gives you the best views of the city to admire. Our room was more than comfortable, the facilities top notch and the staff courteous. When looking out for a luxury stay option in Bengaluru, this hotel must definitely feature on your list of contenders.
