Day 1

Namastey everyone!!!

It was a Sunday morning and one of our friend called us and told that they want to go somewhere as they are bored of sitting at home since the lockdown has started. Since we both keep travelling and so they could not think of anyone else who can take them to a safer and a beautiful place :)

I quickly searched the nearby places and my mind and heart got stuck to this beautiful hidden gem, called Dabbaguli and so the trip started. We had our breakfast and packed our lunch and met our friend staying at Banerghatta road and started for this beautiful place around 11 in the morning. Though I would suggest you to start little early so that you can enjoy the nature as much as you can. We drove through kanakpura road and soon we entered the forest area. Its the same belt as we go to Bheemeshwari or Muthathi but with a lilttle deviation.

If you are starting early you can also visit Chunchi falls which will be 8-9 km detour but since we were already late we skipped it and directly drove towards Dabagulli. Around 1.30PM we stopped for lunch break at a beautiful spot which belonged to forest and tourism department and you can easily find it on the way. We spent a good 1.5 hour of time there as it was just so beautiful.

After the forest drive the most breath taking drive was awaiting for us, a real off roading. Yes so far I have never experienced this good off roading nearby Bangalore :)

Before final drive of around 45 minutes there is a check-post and you have to come back by 6 PM from here as later jungle animals will start coming out nd its not safe. We spotted Hyena and deer while coming back so it just made our day.

Finally we reached at Dabbaguli riverside and we were like WOW.

we had a fun filled swim time

It was a fun filled time of 1.5 hours, where kids enjoyed a lot and we relaxed and took blessings of mother nature. While bathing in river we spotted two deers on the mountain in front of us and it was such a joyous feeling.

Around 5.30 PM we started back to Bangalore and had the most amazing tea with the most beautiful view ever and returned to our home by 10PM.

So if you are looking for a fun filled adventures day trip from Bangalore, please do consider this and let me know your experience.
