Bannergatta National Park

Bannergatta is such place for nature lovers due to flora and fauna maintained in the park.
It is not far from bangalore makes it a place which doesn't require prior planning..

If you are planning to visit Bannerghatta Biological Park then you should plan your vacation in early summer months or winters. The best months to visit Bannerghatta Biological Park are from September to March. You can take a stroll around the park and witness the best of flora and fauna as these months are perfect for a day out.

Timings:

While the Bannerghatta National Park is open all days of the week except Tuesday, the timings for various attractions differs to suit the convenience of visitors and preservation of the habitat.

Zoo Opening Hours: 9:30 AM – 5 PM
Safari Timings: 10 AM – 4:30 PM

How to reach:

There are enough mode of travel available to and fro this park apart from one’s own vehicle. You can also park in your vehicle at the parking lot provided by KSDC and BMTC buses. So reaching Bannerghatta National Park Safari is hassle-free. Buses are available from various places in Bengaluru, specifically from Shivaji Nagar market.

Our plan:

We reached the place in the morning. We traveled on our bike and were very excited as I was visiting the place after more than 15 years. We dint know what to expect as there were so many changes to the park. The guides in the entrance are very kind to tell you where the ticket counter is.. We went to the counter and purchased the tickets for zoo, Safari and butterfly  park.
Overall, it is quite a good experience  for a one day trip
