Bangalore to Hampi : A weekend Drive

After a long week of work, the friday night arrives and then we decided to go to Hampi. At 11:50 we started our journey. It is a very nice highway you just need a good navigation because you need to switch highways. On the way you can have a good time at CCD.

The next day morning we arrived at Hampi. The windmills and the nice sunrise welcomed us and we went to our place of stay and relaxed for a while. In the evening we set out to Anjana parvath a nice place to burn the calories. Make sure you reach in the evening. After that we went to Tutti Hampi, which is a cafe and also you can have some tent stays there. We also visited the Hippie village where you can see due to some issues everything is demolished. I appreciate the artwork on the walls. It was a happening place before.

Early morning we woke and went to Matunga hill to view the sunrise. This place is just awesome. You need to take many steps to reach the top, so leave early depending on the place of stay. This was a great sunrise. After that we had a nice breakfast and set out to explore the real Hampi. It includes the stone chariot, Temples and much more. I took a bicycle to explore. Get a guide or online guides as these places were good to explore on your own. There is a facility for autorickshaw also. In Hampi it is good that you finish exploring after 12pm or there are chances of heat burns. Then we had a nice local meal from a heritage village it was tents, but the food was ok. Then in the evening we explored some nearby places which are mainly farmlands and saw the real beauty of a traditional Indian village. A coracle ride in the evening is also recommended.

Next day early morning we drove back to Bangalore.This place is a UNESCO heritage site and I can understand it had made some worst endings in this place. I suggest to read about the places and explore otherwise it's boring and heat. But this can be a good getaway from Bangalore. Heritage resort Hampi is a better place to relax if you don't wanna go out.
