A stream restaurant? And no, we’re not kidding!
If you’ve ever thought of dining by the streams of a gushing waterfall in the middle of city life, then you’re on the right page.
Because at India’s first stream restaurant, Stonny Brook in Bangalore, you can now live your dreams and experience the luxury of fine-dining in the best way possible.
This themed restaurant is a brainchild of Vinay, who is also the owner of Stonny Brook. He drew his inspiration from a riverside restaurant in the Philippines, where the dining setup by the shallow waters blew his mind. And that’s how he came with the idea of starting up a stream restaurant in India. Isn’t it a bit too fascinating?
Also, try to avoid wearing fancy shoes as you are advised to go barefoot inside the restaurant and soak your feet in the running streams to rejuvenate your senses.
The ambiance of the place has been created in such a way that it matches well with the theme. From flooring to the exteriors, everything has been designed with cobblestones and exudes forest vibes.
As you enter the restaurant, you’ll first come across a pedicure area where you can indulge in some feet pampering session. Followed by which you’d be allowed to enter the main dining area of the restaurant. Sounds amazing, right?
And above all, you can tickle your taste buds with a multi-cuisine platter ranging from Chinese to Japanese to Indonesian delicacies. Also, you can find a few of the Indian favourites too in the menu.
The restaurant is child-friendly and you can go there with your family, friends or loved ones to take a break from the mundane life.
