Trip to Rani Jhari and Kodige waterfalls

It was a mansoon season of the year 2021 and we wanted to explore a bit of Western Ghats because this place turns into heaven in mansoon season. So we started listing out the best places to visit. We came across a place called Rani Jhari which looked awesome. So we started searching for a homestay near to that and we came across a homestay called Girisiri Homestay.
So we booked the stay at Girisiri Homestay for a weekend. We wanted to do this trip in a minimal budget so thought of taking public transport instead of our own transport.
We started our journey from Bangalore to Sunkasale(nearby town for Giri Siri homestay) and boarded the government bus at 10pm at night and we reached Sunkasale at morning 4:30am.From there we hired an auto to reach the Homestay. After reaching the homestay we took a short nap and woke up around 7:30 and had our breakfast. The breakfast was really good and it was typical Malnad breakfast.
Later around 9 we started our journey to Rani Jhari and the transport was included in our stay. We went in a 4*4 vehicle and the off-road experience was awesome. It took around 20 minutes to reach Rani Jhari. We were spellbound by looking at its Beauty. This place was blooming since it was a mansoon season.It was one the best places I have ever been to. We spent around an hour there and headed towards Kodige waterfalls.
Kodige waterfalls was awesome and the water level was really good since it was raining well. We spent around an hour playing in the water and clicked some good pictures. Later we started moving back to our stay. After reaching the homestay we had some delicious lunch and took a nap.
Later in the evening we were taken to a view point called Maidadi view point. It was completely covered with Fogg and we were not able to identify the person next to us because of the fog. Later we came back to the homestay and a campfire was waiting for us. We spent some quality time there and had a good dinner. Later we played some card games and went to sleep.
