A couple of kilometres interior of Chikkajala is a small hillock called Akkayamma Betta, atop which are several ancient structures and a temple dedicated to the village goddess.
There is lots of temples and small caves and cave temple at the top of the hill
1. Bhimeshwara swami
2. Gavimaheshwari amma temple(Cave Temple)
3. Muneshwara Temple
4. Akkayamma Temple
5. Ram Temple
If you take the main entrance road you have to climb about 100 steps to reach the hilltop. Or you can take the back road and reach top in vehicle. There is shelter throughout the steps. There is ample parking space available at both places. Both 2 wheelers and 4 Wheelers will go directly up the Hill top temples.
The hill has many boulders and good city views which grabs travelers ,religious and photo enthusiastic people. The hill is not very tall but there is lot of space at the top so people can spread out. Nice spot to view Sunrise and Sunset.

In all the temples daily rituals is being conducted. The place seems livelier during Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays with special kind of pujas.
Points to Remember:
1. Be careful of the road as there are lot of deviations on the way.
2. Since you will be traveling through villages, be careful as there might be children playing on the road.
3. There is no shops nearby, so do carry water and eatables required.
4. No shelter is ther, so you will be depended on the boulders and the temples for shade.
